Elliotte Friedman Optimistic Since 1961 Shirt
Some hockey fans follow the games, and some follow the voices that explain them. This shirt nods to that second group with a playful "Optimistic Since 1961" slogan tied to broadcaster Elliotte Friedman. It is a lighthearted piece built around hockey culture and the upbeat perspective fans associate with the name. If you enjoy sports media, appreciate a good inside joke, or know someone who never misses a trade update, this graphic shirt gives you a low-key way to wear that interest. At $35.00, it fits comfortably into a casual wardrobe rotation.
Product Overview
The design keeps things simple and readable, letting the slogan do the talking. That approach makes the shirt easy to work into everyday outfits rather than reserving it for special occasions. It suits game nights, watch parties, casual Fridays, weekend errands, or a relaxed day around the house. Because the theme is tied to hockey commentary rather than a specific team, it can appeal to a broad range of fans and to anyone who likes slogan-driven graphic tees. It also makes a thoughtful pick for a friend or family member who follows the sport closely and enjoys a bit of humor in their clothing.
Design & Style
The visual character here comes from the wording itself. A short, confident phrase printed on a casual shirt reads as personality-driven rather than loud, which is part of its charm. Styling it is straightforward: pair it with dark jeans and sneakers for a clean everyday look, or with shorts and a cap when the weather warms up. Layer it under an open flannel, denim jacket, or zip-up hoodie when temperatures drop. The slogan format also plays well with other casual pieces, so it can sit alongside plain tees and team apparel without clashing. For shoppers browsing TShirtCustom options, this shirt stands out through its specific hockey-media reference rather than through flashy graphics.

Care & Use
To keep the shirt and its printed design looking their best, follow the care label that comes with the item. Wash gently and skip harsh chemicals or bleach. These simple habits go a long way toward extending the life of a favorite casual piece.
Why It Works for Hockey Fans
The shirt is less about team colors and more about the shared culture around the sport, especially the voices that shape how fans follow it. That makes it a natural conversation starter at a watch party or a casual nod to a broadcaster people recognize. It also works as an easy gift idea when you want something specific to a fan’s interests without guessing at sizes for jerseys or gear.
For anyone who likes a graphic tee with a story behind it, this Elliotte Friedman shirt offers a simple, wearable way to bring a bit of hockey humor into the everyday lineup.

The artwork is beautiful! I was a little nervous about ordering a item online but it arrived safely and looks fantastic.
I normally wear a large and ordered large. Fits exactly right, not too tight and not too baggy.
Really cute design and I wanted to love it, but the print placement seems slightly off center on mine. Not super noticeable unless you’re looking closely.
Ordered this as a random surprise for my husband and apparently I picked well because he’s worn it like 4 times already ??
Smaller than I pictured in my head but that’s on me for not checking the measurements ?? Still really cute though.
